Austin’s favorite party run! Come R.I.P. (Run, Indulge, Party) with us at the Haunted Half this October. Dress up in your best non-chafing costume and get ready to run for your lives…and treats of course. With the option to run in the half marathon, 5K, or Halloween Half-Mile this cursed course is great for all abilities! The party begins at the Expo, continues at the Start, goes off the charts along the beautiful course, and the race finish rewards you with a festival full of music, food, games, contests, and spooky fun things! A friendly reminder that online registration closes on Saturday, October 24th at 5 p.m.
Sign up online or at the Expo. There is NO day of registration for the Half Marathon, and 5K. There is day of registration for the Kid’s Run.
Visit the Blue Runtastic Info tent from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. to register a child (ages 1-12) for the Kid’s Race (space permitting).

Expo & Packet Pick Up
Where: Central Texas BMX, 5001 Killingsworth Ln, Pflugerville, TX 78660
When: Saturday, October 24th 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Please pick up your packet, bib number, shirt, and race swag at the expo/packet pickup the day before the race. You must have a photo ID to pick up your packet. You may pick up someone else’s packet if you have a copy of their photo ID.
Packets will NOT be available to pick up the morning of the race. If you are for some reason unable to pick up your packet from the expo please send us an email at info@runtasticevents.com .

Parking: Central Texas BMX Park, 5001 Killingsworth Ln, Pflugerville, TX 78660
Airport: The Austin-Bergstrom international airport is about 20 miles (approx. 23 minutes) from the Start/Finish line at Central Texas BMX Park.
The are eight aid stations throughout the course:
- Start
- Aid Station 1 @ mile 1.8
- Aid Station 2 @ mile 3.1
- Aid Station 3 @ mile 5.3
- Aid Station 4 @ mile 8.2
- Aid Station 5 @ mile 10
- Aid Station 6 @ mile 11.3
- Finish
Water, Powerade, vaseline, porta potties and a first aid kit will be available at each station. Look for Powerade on the first table and water on the second. GU will be available at the start and miles 5.3 & 8.2. Orange slices will be available at miles 1.8 & 11.3.
PHOTOS
Flo-Foto is by far one of the best in the event photography industry! Look for photographers at the start line, along the course, finish line, photo backdrops in the runner’s corral, and awards stage. We are providing your social media pictures for free.

TIMING & BIBS
Haunted Half Marathon, and 5K race will be professionally timed. The chips will be attached to the back of your bib number. Please don’t wrinkle or stuff the bib in your pocket.
The first 3 places, male and female, will be determined by gun time (regular timing). All other awards will be determined by using Chip Time.
- Gun Time is the time elapsed from the sound of the gun to the finish line.
- Chip Time is the real time from when the runner crosses the starting line to crossing the finish line.
Results are available in the following ways:
- On Screen at the Results Trailer
- Personal Printed Result at the Results Trailer
- Online at Results
Note: If you alter or damage your chip your time may not be read correctly. Wear your bib on the outermost layer of clothing.
To watch your the runners without interference, but still close enough to cheer them on at one of these Pflugerville locations:

- Gilleland Creek Pool & Park, Miles 4 & 9 @ 700 N Railroad Ave
- Bohls Park, Miles 3.1 & 10 @ 200 Immanuel Rd
- Windermere Park, Miles 5.3 & 8.2 @ 16800 Gower St.

These viewing areas allow you to drive and park without interfering with the runners or course. Please park in parking lots. Do not park along the runner’s path (course).
